The entire Las Espadas is shocked with the revelations about Juan Felipe (James Blanco)’s crimes. The Dela Torre family acts worried except Luciano (Cris Villanueva) who even rubs in Juan Felipe’s lapses. It turns out that Luciano has been secretly plotting wicked schemes against his younger brother.
It can be recalled that a secret informant has fed Juan Felipe with hatred towards Emma by asking him to come at an abandoned building where Ivan (Angelo Patrimonio)’s killer can be found. Juan Felipe arrived at the place and saw Emma. It is revealed that Luciano was the brains behind the put-up job involving Emma and Juan Felipe that pushed the latter to make irrational decisions.
Luciano was even the mastermind behind Emma (Janella Salvador)’s abduction; and is involved in the tragic turn of events in Camila (Maja Salvador)’s life.
The episode shows a series of flashbacks highlighting Luciano’s evil acts. Luciano had always felt envious of Renato. But, even Renato’s death failed to make Luciano completely victorious when Camila, Renato’s daughter, won Don Jacobo (Eddie Guttierez)’s love and trust. In a short sequence, Luciano appeared talking with someone about not letting Camila inherit the family business.
On Camila’s wedding day, Luciano ordered his henchman to obstruct Camila’s bridal car but the plan eventually changed when Javier (Dominic Ochoa) surprisingly made a move as well. Luciano learned about Javier and Camila’s encounter at the old chapel and took advantage of the situation.
Don Jacobo planned to let Camila escape from the felony she didn’t commit by sending her abroad. However, Luciano betrayed his family and called the cops to get Camila arrested. Don Jacobo got mad with Luciano’s treacherousness but his anger didn’t save Camila from getting incarcerated.
