With his dashing looks and enchanting aura, it’s indeed hard not to fall in love with Fabio, played by promising hunk actor Miko Raval, of the highly talked about primetime series The Killer Bride. However, what made him extra lovable, not to mention every woman’s dream guy, is his love for the family that he established with Camila Dela Torre (Maja Salvador) and Emma Bonaobra (Janella Salvador), the girl they fostered and treated as his daughter.
As we all know, he used to be a gangster who would mercilessly kill for the sake of money. But everything changed when he crossed paths with Camila, who he rescued from the fire that engulfed the prison where she was incarcerated. He tried his best to leave his old, cruel life behind and start anew with her.
Their lives got even brighter with the arrival of the adorable young Emma, who became their foster daughter. Although he seemed to have no experience yet when it comes to child-rearing, Fabio has been unbelievably nailing it as Emma grew up into a well-rounded young lady who’s both admired and despised by people around her.
On their first meeting, we witnessed how he immediately got smitten with the adorable kid. While Camila refused to be called as “Mama”, he enthusiastically allowed her to call him “Papa” as he already considered her as his own daughter. Aside from that, Fabio also showed how a doting and lenient dad he could be as he never pressured Emma and consistently supported her in whatever she would like to pursue, which is totally opposite to Camila’s parenting technique.
He consoles Emma whenever she feels anxious and depressed over what Camila did to her and never fails to remind her how much they both love her and to continue loving her “Mama” unconditionally. He knows how to lift her spirits up and will do everything just to give what’s best for Emma.
On the other hand, even though his relationship with Camila is unrequited, Fabio’s love and support for her has remained unwavered. He’s always present whenever she needs him and is always willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of ridding her and Emma of pain and peril, such as when he refused to leave them upon knowing that they’re currently on a mission in Las Espadas and even vowed to help them accomplish it.
Fabio and the family he established with Emma and Camila is a great proof that it’s actually not necessary for people to have consanguinity in order to be called a family. As long as you have affection, concern, and support for one another, your connection can be considered a family.
