Franco (Paulo Avelino) attacks Tiago (Tirso Cruz III) but Armando (Art Acuna) meddles, blinded by his belief that Tiago will spare him from death yet only to die under the hands of his beloved ‘Heneral’. Before taking his last breath, Armando apologizes to his son.
Franco, also fighting for his life after receiving Tiago’s bullets, crawls near his father and cries for help. Franco appears as though he is losing the strength to fight and shuts his eyes.
Meanwhile, Rhian (Angel Locsin) chases after Tiago and climbs off his private boat. Even at the last moments, Tiago still attempts to play at Rhian’s weakness – her emotions. “Hindi ka na magbabago. Anak pa rin kita,” Tiago asserted.
Tiago’s last words inflames Rhian’s wrath. She grabs Tiago and begins beating him up – in behalf of all those who suffered under his ruthless hands – until he is completely bloodied and almost running out of breath.
Rhian sees Tiago take a grenade from his pocket. Pushed to her limits, she takes the grenade form Tiago’s hands and pulls its pin. Too crippled to make a move, Tiago simply screams out at his imminent death.
Rhian jumps off the water just in time before the grenade explodes. Rhian still has the will to live but her body appears too frail to continue fighting. While Rhian is floating on the waters with eyes shut, a flashback shows recollecting her life as Dianna Guerrero, Rhian Bonifacio, and Arabella de Leon.
Few years after, Marcial (Albert Martinez) goes back in service. The scene suggests that he has patched things up with Greg (Nonie Buencamino) and they are currently working together in a mission against a group of syndicate who works akin to Tiago’s group before. Marcial contacts his asset to demand for a meeting at the camp.
The scene cuts to a ringing phone placed on top of a table at the island’s shore. Rhian, addressed by Marcial as 1st Lieutenant Bonifacio, picks up the call. The camera pans to the other side where Franco is seen staring at the waters.
Rhian approaches Franco and tells him that she is needed at the headquarters. Yet, she still does not want to leave the tranquil place. Rhian and Franco hold each other’s hands and play in the waters – an image of the peaceful life they vowed to live together.
