Franco (Paulo Avelino) and Armando (Art Acuna) talk about Rhian’s (Angel Locsin) current situation. Franco is getting worried of Rhian and he thinks of convincing Tiyago (Tirso Cruz III) to stop punishing her.
But, Armando is in favor of the situation, saying Rhian’s death would bring them advantage in pushing Franco into the organization’s leadership post. Besides, Armando believes that Rhian has nowhere to go but die.
The scene cuts to Franco checking up on Rhian and bringing her clothes to wear. He tries to convince her of mending her relationship with Tiyago, believing that the latter’s fatherly instinct would be enough to give Rhian a second chance.
Still, Rhian remains firm in her decision of withdrawing from Tiyago’s group. She turns the situation around by enticing Franco to imagine living a normal life away from crimes and hurting other innocent people. She urges Franco to come with her and start anew.
But just like Rhian, Franco stands firm with his principle. He says he can’t leave the organization behind especially his father and Tiyago who depend so much on him.
Before Franco leaves the room, Rhian requests him to bring in Elai (Arjo Atayde) just to ensure his safety.
As soon as Elai comes in, Rhian cuts the rope binding her hands using the brooch that fell off from Amelia’s (Janice de Belen) clothes amidst their clash the previous day. Rhian leads Elai out of the room in an attempt to escape.
