An emotional reunion happens among the de Leon family as Corazon (Eula Valdes) and Marcial (Albert Martinez) finally find their long lost daughter, Arabella, whom they’ve come to know as Rhian (Angel Locsin).
Corazon is totally delighted in taking care of her eldest child and most of their conversations are overflowing with tears and warmth. They express their regrets for the time they’ve both lost in the past but still look forward to more moments ahead.
Yet, everything still seems surreal for Rhian and she feels lost at the moment. Rhian approaches her Nanang Sabel (Maricel Soriano) and Elai (Arjo Atayde) to confess her true sentiments. As Rhian says, she is clueless of where to begin as everything feels new to her.
Sabel consoles Rhian by empathizing with her. She is certain Rhian will still be endowed with more time with her family; enough to start anew and make up with the missed chances in the past. Elai adds that Rhian will be accepted by the de Leons because, after all, they are all family.
Later on, Rhian spends some idle time at the garden area. Marcial decides to join her and inquire on the thoughts troubling her mind. The de Leon patriarch apologizes for giving up that easy and for assuming that Rhian will never be back after more than two decades of unsuccessful search. More so, he regrets using Rhian as an asset against Tiyago (Tirso Cruz III), akin to how Tiyago used her as bait.
Yet, Rhian dismisses Marcial’s apologies and she assures him that he isn’t at fault. If there is someone to be blamed, Rhian says it has to be Tiyago who took her own life away from her including her family and identity.
Marcial knows he can’t bring back time but he promises to make Tiyago pay for his wickedness. “Ipaglalaban kita! Babawiin ko ang lahat ng ninakaw niya sa’yo!,” Marcial tells Rhian.
