An emotional reunion happens among the de Leon family as Corazon (Eula Valdes) and Marcial (Albert Martinez) finally find their long lost daughter, Arabella, whom they’ve come to know as Rhian (Angel Locsin).
The scene opens with Corazon attending to Rhian’s wounds courtesy of her encounter with the military due to her heroic act of saving Sabel (Maricel Soriano) from Franco’s (Paulo Avelino) group. Corazon says sorry for all the time they lost when Rhian was abducted by Tiyago (Tirso Cruz III). She regrets all the missed chances of being together, and those times when she was far from Rhian’s side when needed.
Yet, Rhian dismisses Corazon’s apology, saying the latter has made her feel genuine motherly love since the beginning even if all she served that time was nothing but pretensions. Even before they arrived at the truth, Rhian has already felt Corazon’s concern through their little moments together.
Rhian and Corazon look forward to more moments ahead of them. Their conversation turns sweeter when Rhian commented on Corazon’s cooking skills. Out of all the sham Rhian showed, she says her fondness for Corazon’s delectable dishes was far from fake. Corazon smiles at her daughter’s warm words.
Marcial comes in bringing a set of first-aid stuff for Rhian. Yet, Rhian’s tender moment with Corazon and Marcial is cut short when Jessie (Ryza Cenon) requested a word with their father.
Outside the house, Jessie boldly expresses her dismay of Marcial’s decision to harbor Rhian. Despite holding all the evidences that will prove Rhian’s true identity, Jessie still acts clueless of Rhian’s authenticity.
Jessie says Rhian was raised as a criminal and they are all unaware of where she came from. Corazon meddles and rebukes Jessie’s statements. Corazon tells Jessie that she and Marcial never doubted her roots when they rescued her as an orphan.
