Taking cue from the reactions she witnessed among the Dela Torres after the disappearance of Luciano (Cris Villanueva)’s corpse, Camila (Maja Salvador) concludes that Alice (Lara Quigaman) is the ‘killer groom.’ Camila catches Aurora (Maricel Morales) talking with a mystery caller named Belladonna. Aurora discloses Luciano’s whereabouts based on what she managed to eavesdrop from the cops. Aurora still refrains from confessing the truth but the look of fear in her eyes is enough to confirm Camila’s assumption.
In the hideout where Luciano’s corpse is secretly kept, Camila eagerly waits for her target. However, not even a single trace of Alice appears. The next morning, Camila, Vito (Geoff Eigenman), and Alejandro discuss their intensified tactics against the ‘killer groom.’
Later, Camila and Vito meet with Ponce to receive the copy of the DNA Test. In the previous episode, Camila secretly took Luna’s spoon to have it examined for a maternity test. Camila is evidently tensed as Vito checks on the report nullifying Aurora (Maricel Morales)’s revelation that Luna is Vida.
Camila becomes furious after learning that the enemies have tricked her once again into believing that Luna is her daughter. The scene cuts to the estranged lovers sharing a sincere conversation about everything that has happened since Camila re-appeared in Las Espadas. Camila expresses regret over her decision to come back and exact revenge. She says someone once told her that getting even would only aggravate the wounds that have always been present.
Camila adds that looking at Vito makes her realize that he indeed loved her and a part of her would always love him, too. Yet, she doesn’t deserve anyone’s love because loving her only yields to death and tragedy.
