The Good Son ended 2017 strongly as it hit a new all-time high national TV rating on Dec 29, when the intense confrontation between Enzo (Jerome Ponce) and Calvin (Nash Aguas) led to the latter’s attempt to end his own life.
Viewers were kept on the edge of their seats as they watched Enzo force Calvin to admit his involvement in Victor’s (Albert Martinez) death, which led to the younger Buenavidez’s attempt to end his life by jumping off an abandoned building.

The show’s all-time high rating comes on the heels of its much talked about episode in the the week of Christmas. Nash Aguas trended on Twitter on Dec 26 as viewers raved about his performance after his character was revealed to be suffering from a mental illness and that his friend Justine (Alexa Ilacad) was only a product of his imagination.
