Starting this September 25, Nash Aguas will return to primetime television in the newest Kapamilya family drama series “The Good Son.” Today, let’s take a look at Nash’s television journey as we remember some of his most memorable appearances in the Kapamilya network.
Star Circle Kid Quest (2004)
Nash first appeared on television as one of the contestants in the first ever season of reality talent search “Star Circle Kid Quest.” He emerged as the grand kid questor and was able to defeat the other finalists like Sharlene San Pedro, Mikylla Ramirez, Aaron Junatas, and CJ Navato.
Goin’ Bulilit (2005)
After winning in “Star Circle Kid Quest,” he became one of the regular cast members of the weekly comedy gag show “Goin’ Bulilit.” He was best known for playing characters in parodies such as Margarina in “Margarina,” Komrad in “Agent X Pulpol,” and Rosario in “Ysabellat.”
Mga Anghel na Walang Langit (2005)
Nash’s first appearance in a primetime teleserye was in 2005. He played the role of Allan, one of the supporting characters in the inspirational drama series “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit.” The series starred Sharlene San Pedro, John Manalo, Nikki Bagaporo, Carl John Barrameda, and Miles Ocampo.
Gulong ng Palad (2006)
He also appeared in the 2006 remake of the iconic radio drama series and soap opera, “Gulong ng Palad.” He portrayed the iconic role of Peping Santos, the youngest brother of Luisa (Kristine Hermosa), Nena (Hazel Ann Mendoza) and Totoy (Joross Gamboa), and the son of Tomas (Joel Torre) and Idad (Rio Locsin).
Calla Lily (2006)
Nash also starred in the drama series “Calla Lily.” He played the role of Terrence, a very sickly kid who was left at San Isidro by his wealthy parents who eventually became a close friend of Calla (Sharlene San Pedro).
Maria Flordeluna (2007)
He also portrayed another famous role in the 2007 remake of the iconic drama series “Maria Flordeluna.” He was chosen to play Reneboy Alicante, the brother of Maria Flordeluna (Eliza Pineda) and the youngest son of Leo (Albert Martinez) and Elvira (Vina Morales).
Nash was one of the cast members of the primetime fantasy drama series “Lobo.” He portrayed the role of Enrico “Tikboy” Kabigting, a young boy who was a good friend of Lyka (Angel Locsin). He knew that she was a wolf but kept her secret to protect her.
May Bukas Pa (2009)
He also appeared in the twenty-sixth chapter of the hit primetime inspirational drama series “May Bukas Pa.” He played the role of Val, a special child who was being taken care of by Sara (Bea Alonzo). Because he had autism, he had a hard time communicating with other people, but during a church celebration, he was discovered to be a gifted child.
Luv U (2013)
Nash starred in the second season of the weekly teen comedy series “Luv U.” He portrayed the role of Benjamin “Benj” Jalbuena, the school’s resident bad boy and the rival of little miss perfect Lexie (Alexa Ilacad). His true feelings for her were revealed when he saved her from one of his schemes.
His biggest break in television was in the primetime drama series “Bagito.” He was the lead star of the show and he was paired once again with Alexa Ilacad. He played the role of Andrew “Drew” Medina, a high school teenager who unexpectedly had the responsibilities of a young father when his college crush Vanessa (Ella Cruz) got pregnant.
Doble Kara (2016)
He also appeared in the top-rating daytime drama series “Doble Kara.” He portrayed the role of Paolo Acosta, the second cousin of Seb (Sam Milby) who had romantic feelings for Patricia (Alexa Ilacad), the younger sister of Julio (Polo Ravales). He worked at the Dela Rosa Foundation with Patricia and they became very close friends.
The Good Son (2017)
This 2017, Nash will play the role of Calvin “Cal” Buenavidez, the lonely son. He is one of the legitimate sons of Victor (Albert Martinez) with Olivia (Eula Valdez). He is the younger brother of Enzo (Jerome Ponce) and the half-brother of Joseph (Joshua Garcia). He is also the love interest of Justine (Alexa Ilacad). The series also stars John Estrada, Mccoy de Leon, Elisse Joson, Loisa Andalio and Mylene Dizon. It is directed by Emmanuel Palo and Andoy Ranay.
