The General’s Daughter caters to viewers of all sorts. If you are looking for action, then this series is exactly what you are looking for. From the portrayal of military life and secret missions to revenge plans and rivalries, there is a surplus of confrontations and psychological warfare. Maybe you prefer to focus on drama? This show has that in store too. Anytime someone suffers from memory loss, you know it is going to be an emotional journey to regain their identity. Do not rule out romance yet! Rhian (Angel Locsin) and Ethan (JC de Vera) is serving up doses of kilig.
We are only less than a month into the story, but there are already a handful of memorable moments worthy of making anyone’s favorite scenes. Today, we asked Eula Valdes for hers!
“Unang paborito ko sa The General’s Daughter ay ‘yung unang pagkikita namin ni Rhian,” she started off her list. Rhian is skating on thin ice as she attempts to gain the trust of her supposed enemies. Yet as soon as Corazon joined their little group, the air changed. Their meeting was just natural and the look they shared seemed to hold something deeper.
“‘Yung tintuturuan ko siyang magluto,” Eula added. This was a continuation of their first encounter and Rhian’s chance to have some alone time with Corazon. It was this moment that opened up a closer relationship between the two. Corazon even offered to teach Rhian how to cook. As if they were a real mother and daughter.
“’Yung mga kainan namin. ‘Yung mga scenes namin sa dining,” Eula topped off. Rhian may have an ulterior motive, but it does not seem like she has to do much pretending whenever Corazon is around. Over the course of their limited encounters, anyone can see that they are quickly building a special bond. Especially since Jessie (Ryza Cenon) turned out to be more like Marcial (Albert Martinez) than Corazon.
What are your favorite scenes? Did any from Eula’s list make your top three?
