They may seem like worlds apart, but that’s not stopping Carrie and Tonyo from finding happiness in each other’s arms.
Who could forget Katorse’s love triangle back in 2010 which starred Erich Gonzales alongside Ejay Falcon, Xian Lim and Enchong Dee. Luckily there’s triple the Erich this time around, so we don’t have to choose sides in The Blood Sisters. If you’re looking for a tandem that found love where they least expected, then Carrie and Tonyo have you covered.
Their first encounter was at a mall where she ended up slapping and calling him a pervert all because he thought she was Erika. Not off to a fantastic start, but they managed to work their way up from there.
It didn’t take long before we would witness the early signs that their relationship could take a romantic turn. As a fan, Carrie was completely focused on Daryl Ong’s performance while Tonyo couldn’t help but secretly look at her with smitten eyes. Later that night, he would defend her against a random guy at the bar. And this is only the beginning of the many moments they’ll spend together. He would also get her to try street food which she surprisingly enjoyed and experience a motorcycle ride for the first time.
When the going gets tough, Tonyo was always ready to comfort her. After discovering that their real mother is Adele (Cherry Pie Picache), Carrie felt hurt and betrayed by her very own father. In the scene where she poured her heart out, he offered a shoulder to cry on to comfort her.
Hearing them finally confess their feelings for each other was such a breath of fresh air. Their shy reactions made the moment so cute, except for the part when they teased viewers by almost kissing but then deciding to hold it off.
Their cast will only be around until the end of this week. Are you ready to say your farewells to Carrie and Tonyo? We’re definitely not.
