This 2018, AJ Muhlach gets his biggest break on primetime television as he stars in one of the most daring teleseryes of the Kapamilya network, “The Blood Sisters,” topbilled by Erich Gonzales who will play three identical sisters. Before the newest drama-action-suspense series starts airing this February 12, let’s look back at the television journey of one of its stars, AJ Muhlach, as we recall some of the roles he portrayed on television.
Be Careful With My Heart (2013-2014)
AJ appeared in the top-rating daytime romantic-comedy series “Be Careful With My Heart.” He played the role of Amiel Sebastian, a senior transferee in the high school where Nikki (Janella Salvador) was studying. He was also one of the close friends of Luke (Jerome Ponce) and Nicolo (Marlo Mortel).
Maalaala Mo Kaya (2014-2016)
He also appeared in five different episodes of the longest-running drama anthology in Asia, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” He first appeared in the episode “Cellphone” as Jeff. The episode starred Vina Morales and Ingrid dela Paz.
His second time to appear was in the episode “Sulat,” which starred Jessy Mendiola and Edgar Allan Guzman.
He also appeared as Rudy in the episode entitled “Spaghetti.” The episode starred Jake Cuenca, Andi Eigenmann, and Arci Muñoz.
His fourth time to appear was in the episode “Box” as Direk. The episode starred Maxene Magalina and Edgar Allan Guzman.
The last and most recent time he appeared on the weekly series was in the episode “Pole,” wherein he played the role of Patrick. The episode starred Jessy Mendiola and Vin Abrenica.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2017)
AJ appeared in the top-rating primetime action-drama series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” He played the role of Simon “Paniki” Yumul, a rebel who was killed by Cardo (Coco Martin) when he held captive of some hostages.
La Luna Sangre (2017)
He also appeared in the primetime action-fantasy series “La Luna Sangre.” He portrayed the role of Levi Esguerra, a second batch member of the Moonchasers alongside Harbin (Mark Neumann), Sheryl (Sammie Rimando), Miggy (Vitto Marquez), Aife (Barbie Imperial), and Robin (Markus Patterson). As part of their training, he faced off with Jake (Tony Labrusca) in an intense fight wherein he was defeated.
The Blood Sisters (2018)
In “The Blood Sisters, AJ will play the role of Rainier, a bad boy who will try to hunt Erika, one of the roles portrayed by Erich Gonzales.
Aside from Erich, the series also stars Ejay Falcon, Enchong Dee, Dina Bonnevie, Jestoni Alarcon, Tessie Tomas, Ruby Ruiz, Ogie Diaz, and Cherry Pie Picache. It is directed by Jojo Saguin and produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
“The Blood Sisters” will premiere this February 12 before “TV Patrol” only on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
