Picking up from David (Zanjoe Marudo)’s karmic downfall, the cheating narcissist’s self-centered thinking pushed him to kidnap his own son, after threatening Jill to keep troubling them for the rest of their lives. Jill arrived at the hotel room where David brought Gio but found the place empty and with broken glasses on the floor, hinting at a possible danger.

It was impossible not to hate him in the beginning but you’d also feel a pinch of pity at the end. Zaijian was very raw in every scene. You’d clearly understand whether his tears fell out of anger, hurt, or trauma. While Sue and Jake only had quick appearances in the final episodes, we can’t deny the refreshing energy they added to the show’s last moments.
