Elaine Duran of Butuan City bested a very exceptional array of finalists to prevail in the Tawag ng Tanghalan  Huling Tapatan and become its third grand champion.  

Elaine, with her breathtaking rendition of classic OPM hits in the second round, bested crowd favorite John Mark Saga and outstanding vocalist John Michael dela Cerna in the top 3.

She aced the first round getting a standing ovation from both the judges and the audience with her stirring version of Shanti Dope’s “Nadarang” that revealed her hidden rap skills.

Elaine will receive two million pesos in cash in addition to a house and lot and a talent management contract, among others.
