First fight
When Ethel first stepped on the TNT stage, she gave a show-stopping performance of the song titled “Help!” by The Beatles. Her slow and emotional version of the song that is far from the English rock band’s upbeat original version of the song captivated everyone’s hearts.
With her very impressive performance, Ethel emerged as the TNT Celebrity Champion of the Day against JinHo Bae AKA “Song-Yupsal”, Alex Castro and Marlo Mortel.

Semi-finals
Advancing to the semi-finals, Ethel gave us a more powerful performance. She sang Celine Dion’s classic hit single titled “To Love You More”. Despite struggling in some points of her number, she was able to pull through and finish strong her performance.

Garnering a total of 56.03% total average of votes, Ethel was hailed as the Madlang People’s Choice. This became her ticket to the Grand Finale event of the competition.
Grand Finals
On the first round of the grand finals, she brought the house down with her powerful take on the classic “What Kind Of Fool Am I” that became her ticket to the final round as one of the Top 3 contenders alongside Jason Fernandez and Roxanne Barcelo.
For her last hurrah, Ethel gave a heartfelt rendition of the song titled “Never Say Goodbye” by Nonoy Zuniga. She started smoothly, telling the heart-melting story of the song. Gradually, she gave a striking take on the high notes and ended her performance with a breath-taking finale.

She took home 300,000 pesos cash, a trophy carved by Filipino renowned visual artist Toym Imao, a pair of customized in-ear monitors and a recording contract from TNT Records.
