WINNING MOMENTS: Mark Michael Garcia is the first ever TNT All Star Grand Resbak Champion
According to him, he was shocked upon hearing his name because he felt like he did not do well on the first round wherein he sang James Ingram’s "I Don't Have The Heart."
"Hindi ako makapaniwala, sa totoo lang, kasi [sa] first song namin, medyo sumablay talaga ako. Aminado naman ako," he said.
To make up for it, he made sure that he stuck to the plan he intended for the piece.
"Sabi ko sa sarili ko na babawi ako, [susubukan] ko talagang i-maintain (na) hindi magkagulo ‘yung kanta. ‘Yung plano ko na gagawin sa kanta, dapat naka-focus ako do’n," he said.
In the second round, he sang songs from Chicago including "You're The Inspiration," "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" and "Glory of Love" and received a standing ovation from the Hurados and the madlang people.

He shared that the experience he will never forget in the competition was the change in his schedule.
Before, he used to go home late, but since he joined TNT, he immediately went home after gigs because the show requires the contenders to be in the studio early in the morning.
He offers his win to God and his family, especially his mother.
According to him, he wouldn't have the trophy with him if it wasn't for his mother who came to support him.
"Sabi niya sa'kin, 'di na siya makakapunta so 'di ko na rin pinush kasi 'di ko naman talaga alam kung anong pwedeng mangyari ta’s all of a sudden, biglang lumabas nanay ko (so) parang surprise sa akin. Sobrang saya ko (na) nakita ko siya ulit," he said.
He added that his mother was not able to watch his first solo concert in the Music Museum because of family matters, so seeing her in the It’s Showtime studio made him happy.
Mark Michael won a cash prize of Php300,000 a business franchise, a recording contract from TNT Records, a talent management contract from ABS-CBN and a trophy made by Toym Imao.
According to him, he will put the money in the bank while the business franchise will go to his mother.
"Bibigay ko po sa mama ko para at least kahit papano meron silang mapagkikitaan kasi walang work ‘yung nanay ko," he shared.
He thanked his supporters for their unending support and is hoping that they will continue to stay by his side in the future.
"Sa lahat ng pagmamahal, sa lahat ng suporta, lalong-lalo na sa mga boto n’yo online at through text, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat," he said.
"Sana patuloy n’yo pa rin akong suportahan at tandaan n’yo lagi (na) puso para sa pangarap. Pangarap ko, pangarap n’yong lahat. Maraming maraming salamat sa inyo," he added.
