As the Halloween season kicks off, Star Magic artists went into the spine-tingling vibe as they paraded the Black Carpet of the 2019 Black Magic Halloween Ball at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel, Resorts World Manila last October 20.
Some of the celebrities arrived looking incredibly fierce in their anime, superhero or film character costumes, others brought some humor to the party by donning a variety of comical personalities, a few exuded elegance in their subtle costumes, while some went all-in and spread some real terror with their horrifying get-ups.
During the actual ball, certified standouts in the occasion bagged the night’s major awards.
Enzo Pineda and Kira Balinger, who respectively came as the deceitful poltergeist called as Beetlejuice and as the naughty sexy woman named Harley Quinn, were named as Metro Magazine’s Best Male and Female Transformation. The Male and Female Best in Costume Award went to KathNiel, as Kathryn Bernardo wowed everyone by appearing as Poison Ivy, and as Daniel Padilla gave his own impressive version of the character named Hector from the animated film “Coco.”
For dressing up amazingly as the “One Punch Man” anime characters named Saitama and Genos, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber or the MayWard pair received The Most Creative Costume Award.
Meanwhile, It’s Showtime’s Hashtag Zeus Collins was awarded as the artist who wore the Funniest Costume for giving us what is probably the most hilarious image of an adult-sized Dora.
