After celebrating their 6th Valentine’s Day together, Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte used their kilig prowess to help Typhoon Odette survivors in “Kilig Match” interactive benefit show, which is part of ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Isang Daan Sa Pagtutulungan” fundraising drive.
While collecting donations via live streaming app Kumu and other platforms, LoiNie took on fun challenges and engaged the audience with meaty conversations about love. The celebrity couple may be officially together for five years and has gone through relationship tests but they always make sure to celebrate Heart’s Day no matter how simple. This year, Ronnie gave Loisa a lot of chocolates and that was enough to make her happy. They also got a new pet dog. Now their fur babies have grown to a total of 15.
While other young couples would take each day as it comes, LoiNie makes time to plan for the future. They know popularity and projects wouldn’t always be at its peak, so they want to put up business to fall back on. They’re opening a café and restaurant franchise this year.
Fans are also in for a treat as LoiNie stars in their own series “Love in 40 Days” which promises to bring all kinds of ‘feels.’ The Kapamilya love team instantly fell in love with the script that reminds them of K-dramas and they’re sure fans will also enjoy the series. Contrary to what people think, sharing the same project doesn’t mean Loisa and Ronnie no longer have the chance to miss each other. They always do, even during tapings as they make sure to separate work and personal affairs.
The lovebirds also shared their dynamics, saying learning to completely trust each other leads to lesser fights. Loisa, who used to feel jealous when Ronnie works with another love team partner, now feels more secure. They said Loisa was the first to say ‘I love you’ via text message. She’s also the “palaasar” while he’s more “pikon.” On who’s more “malambing,” Loisa said she is. But Ronnie would disagree, saying when he was rushed to the hospital due to a spine injury during taping, everyone was worried while Loisa just slept. The lovebirds also shared how close they are to each other’s families.
For level-up ‘kilig,’ the sweethearts really got close in the “Funny Bones” Challenge. They also exchanged phones and revealed some snaps from each other’s galleries. From Loisa’s phone, Ronnie picked her portrait “kasi ang ganda mo dito, eh,” as well as their photos as Edward and Jane, their characters in “Love in 40 Days.” Scrolling down Ronnie’s photos, Loisa revealed a picture of her ‘beh’ walking their dogs and showing off his abs.
LoiNie treated fans to a romantic duet as well. And to serenade viewers, Kapamilya singers Anthony Castillo and JM Dela Cerna also joined the livestream.
