News has been all over social media when singer-actress Janella Salvador, together with her boyfriend singer-actor Markus Paterson officially introduced their very charming newborn Jude Trevor, as they both shared a touching video showing Janella’s journey all throughout her pregnancy.
In the viral vlog, you can watch snippets of Janella walking us through her everyday life during her pregnancy - from having ultrasound sessions and yoga routines, as well, to both of them having a photoshoot showing Janella’s baby bump. The actress revealed that she found out about her pregnancy in February last year. Janella then left the country and flew to the UK in September. And it was in October last year when Janella gave birth to baby Jude Trevor.
In this video, Janella did Star Magic’s “OOTB” or Out Of The Box challenge, where she shared more details about her pregnancy and about baby Jude as she answered the fans’ questions. The first question was how many days old was baby Jude on January 1, and if her answer was wrong, she was challenged to imitate baby Jude’s cry. Apparently, Janella’s answer was wrong when she said 63 when it was actually 74 days. So she tried showing how baby Jude cries. Next, Janella was asked to sing a lullaby to baby Jude but she had to sing it like it was an opera. And Janella sang the classic “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”
Next challenge was to pick a color from the rainbow and to describe how cute baby Trevor is using that color. Janella did it through a pick-up line and said “Baby Jude, are you the color blue? Because the first time I saw you, you blew me away!” Janella then was challenged to mimic the British accent of Markus when he teases her, when he’s mad, and when he shows affection. Janella seemed like she aced that challenge, so watch out how she tried to imitate the British accent of her boyfriend!
Next, she was asked to give seven words that rhyme with “Jude” in five seconds and if the word was wrong, she’s going to spell “Jude” using her head. And Janella seemed like she’s very good with vocabulary as she completed saying all words! Next question was the last movie that she watched which symbolizes her life right now. She said it was the horror film “The Conjuring.”
The next questions and challenges were related to her characters in her previous projects. Janella was then challenged to say the famous line “Oh my gee!” of her character Nikki in Be Careful With My Heart, and it was like it was just yesterday when we were all hooked with the rom-com series. Next, she was asked what was scarier between an overnight stay in Haunted Mansion or a vacation trip with The Killer Bride and “The Heiress.” And Janella answered the second. Next challenge was to sing her hit single “Mahal Kita Pero” but only using “Jude Trevor” as the lyrics. She also said that she can be called a “halamom” now since she had a plantita phase during the quarantine in the Philippines. She also imitated the reaction of Maja Salvador after hearing the news that she’s pregnant. When asked what’s bigger between Maximus and the fan base of baby Jude, Janella said it’s actually going to be baby Jude himself.
Next, Janella was challenged to give three songs from the B-side EP of Markus and if she made a mistake, she was asked to sing her own rendition of one of Markus’ songs. Even though Janella was able to give all three songs, she still sang “Best Wishes” from Markus’ EP. In relation to the name of her son, Janella was asked about the current YouTube views of The Beatles’ “Hey Jude” and if she was wrong, she would sing the song. Janella got it right but she still sang a bit of the song.
Janella was then asked to give a message to her precious Jude and she said: “I just want you to know that your dad and I love you so much. We will go through everything no matter how hard just to be able to give you the life you deserve, and we can’t wait to see you grow…and become the football player your papa wants you to become. We really hope you grow up to be very respectful, to become a gentleman. I can’t wait for the years to come. I have the whole lifetime to spend with you, and we can’t wait. We love you!” Markus also shared his heartfelt message their bundle of joy. “Hopefully you’ve learnt from your mama and papa the respect that we want you to learn. Hopefully, you’re happy with what you’re doing. Sana masaya ka sa football, pero kahit anong ikasasaya mo ngayon, we support you fully. I will love you till the end of the earth. Don’t grow up so fast, my little man! Love you!”
