In The Journey to Star Circle Episode 2: Finding X episode, Star Magic founder-slash-manager Mr. Johnny Manahan, as well as Artist Recruitment Head Monch Novales and former Talent Recruitment Specialist Abby Niesta, had been clear about the qualities of a person who, for them, is a certified star-in-the-making. They seemingly might have different opinions regarding how one should look, but they all agreed that a hopeful should be able to immediately capture their attention through his/her facade.
And this has something to do with the fourth episode of this eight-part special series, dubbed “Magical Transformation”, as it zeroes in the preparations and procedures an aspiring artist, or even someone already in the entertainment scene, must go through before being completely allowed to go out to the world. From fashion, style, fitness, grooming, up to the overall lifestyle, the management is revealed to have a say or is very particular on how a certain celebrity or aspirant should showcase not only himself/herself, but to represent Star Magic as well.
Since physical appearance is the foremost capital of every artist, he/she should make sure that they regularly visit their trusted clinics to have their facial and oral health checked, hit the gym to keep their body fit, and go to the salon to have their hair and scalp checked and fixed. In this video, we followed the hopefuls in their trips to their skincare and dental care providers, a salon, and a gym, and at the same time, asked some of them regarding their fashion pegs.
Just like in other episodes, some of our well-loved Star Magic talents also recalled how they struggled in the fashion department in the past and how they evolved now that they could easily rely on their beloved stylists who are in-charge of making them appear pleasant in the camera. Aside from that, they also imparted a few self-care tips to the aspirants, with Angelica Panganiban emphasizing the importance of sleep and diet, while Maja Salvador encouraging them to regularly exercise not just to look good, but feel good too.
But most of all, what’s more important is that amidst the makeovers and the improvements in the performances that celebrities have to go through, it’s so delightful that many, if not all, of them have never forgotten the realest versions of themselves.
