From touring us around her bedroom and closet in her first two vlogs, Charlie Dizon brought us to her bathroom as she took on the “24-hour Bathroom Challenge” in her latest vlog.
She started with the challenge at 9:12 in the morning and aimed to finish on the same time the following day. Since she couldn’t think of anything to do, she decided to raid her bag that she used during her gimmick with friends Gillian Vicencio and Sue Ramirez the night before.
Rummaging through her stuff, she found makeup, wallet that contained Php1,740, lipgloss, face mask, phone charger, receipts, her go-to cologne that she got from the airplane when she flew to the United States early this year, the pair of earrings given to her by Sue, and her car keys.
Charlie also brought her makeup pouch with her and had a mini makeup tutorial while reminiscing about the time when her mom kind of locked her inside their bathroom as punishment when she was still a kid. Although the door was not really locked and the light was open, she was too afraid to go out and be seen by her mom crying so hard. It was after her mom declined to bring her with them when she and her dad went to Pangasinan, since she had exams then and their mom didn’t want them to be absent in school.
She wasn’t able to bring food so she simply texted her companions at home, who brought her pizza afterwards. As she ate, she confessed that she usually doesn’t eat that much nor eat at all while on the set because she found it hard to cry when she’s full. Besides, her stomach gets upset, too, whenever she is stressed.
Since she doesn’t have anything to do after lunch, she simply talked about her first encounters with celebrities she got to work with. She began with her Viral Scandal co-actor Jameson Blake, who she got to work for the first time in a biscuit commercial before he became one of the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother 737 in 2015.
The 26-year-old actress also got to work with Liza Soberano for a shampoo ad, whose angelic beauty truly mesmerized her; and with 2 Good 2 Be True actress Kathryn Bernardo for a feminine wash commercial, whose professionalism at work truly amazed her as the Asia’s Superstar didn’t have any qualm when they had to climb up a hill.
She found Sarah Geronimo absolutely beautiful when she met her for the first time in a commercial they did for a popular fastfood chain alongside The Voice Kids Season 1 finalists Darren Espanto and Lyca Gairanod.
As she continued with her sharing after her camera went low battery, Charlie remembered how her sisters were big fans of Richard Gutierrez. Thus, they grabbed the chance to meet him when the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor had a mall show near their place.
And lastly, she recounted her unforgettable and thrilling encounter with John Lloyd Cruz a few years ago. It all started when she accompanied her pamangkin in an audition at ABS-CBN, wherein she also caught the attention of the production staff and asked if she would want to be a talent as well. A few months after, they both received a call and had the chance to take part in the 2013 blockbuster film “It Takes A Man And A Woman.” She reminisced how she got starstruck by its headliners JLC and Sarah, since she was able to watch all of their films. Charlie once again had the chance to work with them again in 2017 via “Finally Found Someone,” wherein she played the role of his younger sister.
Charlie then took a nap, fixed her hair, cleaned the bathroom floor, and ate dinner delivered to her once again. After brushing her teeth and changing to her sleepwear, she attempted to sleep but wasn’t able to handle the heat emitted by the candle she lit and the discomfort of her position, so she finally gave up. In the end, she accepted that it was “Mission Failed” for her, yet it was okay for her because at least, she tried.
