From being a dazzling darling who mesmerized us in her modern Filipiniana look during this year’s ABS-CBN Ball held last month, Elisse Joson recently stunned us with her transformation into Willy Wonka’s female counterpart in Star Magic’s Black Magic Halloween Party held last October 20 at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel, Pasay City.
Even though her chosen peg wasn’t terrifying, she was still able to stupefy the onlookers as she gracefully sashayed on the black carpet in her fabulous and sexy take on the popular fictional character from the children’s novel-turned-film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” that has been a memorable part of our childhood.
While the 23-year-old actress’ get-up might appear simple, but it actually took a village for her to be able to pull-off her “Scrumdiddlyumptious” look. In-charge of her make-up was her ever-trusted Mark Qua. Her coif, which was actually a wig, was neatly fixed by her go-to hairstylist Aries Manal. Meanwhile, stylists Paul Sese and Team Ryuji Shiomitsu’s Cami Alviz collaborated in piecing together her whole ensemble – from the Mara Chua custom red coat, studded black corset, black stockings and sleek thigh-high boots, round wayfarers, black top hat, and shimmering necklace, up to the walking stick and chocolate props.

Aside from her current stint as Grace in the Kapamilya Gold drama Sandugo, you can also catch her in the iWant Originals Shugo Praico-helmed film “You Have Arrived” starting October 25, which also stars Barbie Imperial and Arielle Roces and is produced by Cinebro and Rein Entertainment Philippines.
