So this is how fun and crazy the “He’s Into Her” squad could get during taping breaks! Straight from their lock-in location, “He’s Into Her” cast members Vivoree Esclito, Kaori Oinuma, Jeremiah Lisbo, Joao Constancia, Criza Taa, Ashley del Mundo, Gello Marquez, Dalia Varde and Limer Veloso brought more life and ‘barkada’ vibes to our Valentine’s Day as they guested on “Kilig “Match,” an interactive benefit show that is part of ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Foundation’s fundraising drive for Typhoon Odette survivors.
As in the previous nights, the featured artists would take on dares, fan requests, and exciting questions for every target amount of diamonds donated to livestreaming app Kumu.
Let’s begin with a recap of all the happy and ‘kulit’ moments! During the “Bukingan Challenge,” host Darla Sauler asked the squad who they’d like to hug. But instead of just dropping names, they walked up to that person for the actual hugs. Gello went to the other room and gave Ashley a hug. Kaori and Jeremiah or KaoMiah also shared an embrace, as well as Criza and Joao or CrizJo.
We know we can rely on Gello, Vivoree, and Joao for some ‘kilig’ and entertaining song numbers. But we didn’t expect Criza, the wild child of the barkada and the life of the party, to hype up the group even more. At that point, the rest of the cast members joined KaoMiah in their duet. Squeezing all their faces into the camera, everyone sang along, with Criza dropping sparkling adlibs. Thanks to Criza’s super perky energy, everybody and even viewers felt they’re on party mode.
By request, Criza continued the ‘party scene’ with her rendition of classic rap song “S2pid Luv.” The gang showed off their TikTok dance moves – with live tutorials. They took on the “Toxic” dance trend, as well as the “Paru-Paro G” and “Ginseng Strip” dance challenges.
They also got candid about their first impressions of one another. Ashley was mostly described as the sweet girl of the group. “Baby girl namin ‘yan,” said Joao. Meanwhile, Gello said he thought they wouldn’t get along because of language barrier. She also exudes ‘kdrama star’ appeal according to Jeremiah.
They saw the same sweet girl vibes in Kaori, whom Joao described as “innocent beauty.”
Dalia indeed has a strong supermodel aura. In Joao’s words, “Ang ganda ng beauty niya,” while Jeremiah said she’s “parang Barbie.”
It’s impossible not to be drawn to Criza’s energy even when it’s your first time meeting her. Most of her co-stars thought she’s chatty, as Joao said “ang ingay, kahit nasa kabilang room maririnig mo siya,” and they proved it to be true.
Joao made a ‘bad boy’ impression to most of his co-stars. Dalia even called him “LA Boy, international playboy.” But of course it changed as they got to know him.
The cast seems to love teasing Jeremiah, as if he’s one of the funny guys in the group. Dalia said Jeremiah has “a weird laugh, parang may disease ka.” Meanwhile, Kaori revealed that Jeremiah is “mabait pero pilyo at bully.”
In the Bukingan Challenge, the team voted Donny Pangilinan as the most “galante” or generous. They said Criza is the most “makulit” and “mabilis tumawa” but also the most “antukin.” Ganging up on Jeremiah once again, they voted him as “matagal mag-memorize ng script.” The sweetest, according to Gello, is none other than Ashley.
Since foodtrip is life for the “He’s Into Her” cast and it’s one of their best forms of bonding, they said everyone could pass as “malakas kumain.” They also shared funny anecdotes proving some of them are “tirador ng food props.”
Director Chad Vidanes made a surprise appearance in the middle of the show to pledge his donations and tease about the Season 2 of the hit teen series. He said fans could expect Max (Belle Mariano) and Deib (Donny)’s relationship to grow deeper.
It has been a week since they started filming in their bubble and the cast is enjoying every minute of work and especially the bonding moments and activities (working out and eating) that happen behind the scenes.
