A gorgeous actress, a superb dancer, and an all-around talent, Loisa Andalio deserves all the praise and admiration from her loyal fans and followers through the years, as we all witnessed her evolution as an artist before our very eyes.
Loisa began her showbiz journey as the pretty “Talented Darling ng Paranaque” teen housemate on Pinoy Big Brother All-In in 2014. After leaving the house a day before the Big Night finale, landing one place short of making the Big 4 of that season, Loisa treaded into showbiz territory as a full time actress.
Loisa first starred in the daytime teleserye Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita, with her onscreen partner at that time, Joshua Garcia. After this big break, she went on to land a supporting role in the romantic teleserye Be My Lady in 2016. She also appeared in a number of episodes of the anthologies Ipaglaban Mo (“Kapalit ng Pag-ibig”, 2015; “Sanib,” 2016; “Katiwala,” 2018) and Maalaala Mo Kaya (“Puno” and “Karnabal”, 2016; “Sementeryo,” 2018; “Jersey,” 2019).
Loisa also became regular of ASAP Natin ‘To and a member of the GirlTrends on It’s Showtime in 2016.
Her first major role came that same year when she was cast as Candy in the fantasy series Wansapanatym Presents Candy’s Crush. She would then follow it up with another lead role in the same fantasy program, the top-rating Wansapanatym Presents My Hair Lady, in 2017. Loisa capped her Wansapanatym stint with the heartwarming “Gelli in a Bottle” in 2018.
Loisa also took on supporting roles in the primetime teleseryes My Dear Heart and The Good Son in 2017 and The General’s Daughter in 2019.
On film, Loisa first captivated audiences in the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla-starrer “Crazy, Beautiful You” before joining the ensemble cast in Vice Ganda’s two Metro Manila Film Festival entries, “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” in 2017 and “Fantastica” in 2018. She then appeared in her first major lead role in “James and Pat and Dave” with onscreen and real-life partner Ronnie Alonte, with who she forms the popular LoiNie love team, and Donny Pangilinan in 2020.
She also appeared as the lead actress on the iWantTFC original series “Past, Present, Perfect?” in 2019 and her most recent project “Unloving U” earlier this year, also with Ronnie.
Indeed, Loisa has emerged from her humble simple beginnings to a bankable female lead. Check out more about Loisa’s evolution as an artist in this video from Push.com.ph!
