We got a lot of KD Estrada’s music and smile - just two of the things we love about him - as he shared the highlights of his Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 experience, as well as the goal he values the most, and took on fun challenges in this episode of Kapamilya Chat.
KD was welcomed by the outside world with explosive love and support, and exciting things. But the biggest of these blessings, one thing that makes him the happiest, is his newfound courage.
Since exiting the PBB house last December, KD has been showing us more confidence, ready to prove that he’s more than just the introverted guy with passion for music. In fact, he’s gearing up for a mini-series titled “Bola-Bola” together with his friends from The Squad Plus.
KD’s goal this 2022 is to really work on his confidence, citing the greatest lesson he learned from Big Brother, which is to practice more self-love. He said he’s getting there. And we think he really is, feeling the positive energy he exudes throughout the interview.
He’s also thankful for the continued support from fans. KD didn’t expect his fandom to grow this huge, thinking viewers won’t find a quiet guy like him worth watching, although he’s happy every time people would save him from eviction. “I remember during the first week, gusto ko lang mapag-isa. Hindi ako nagsasalita masyado. But it turns out people related to that introverted me. And I’m thankful for that,” he shared.
Looking back on his PBB Kumunity Season 10 journey, KD said he regrets nothing as even the mistakes gave him lessons. Admittedly the underdog in weekly tasks, KD thought he could’ve exerted more effort. Nonetheless, he’s happy with his performance, knowing that everything that happened brought him to where he is right now.
Asked which housemate he misses the most, KD didn’t have to think twice. He mentioned Alexa Ilacad. He also misses Kuya and the unlimited coffee inside the house.
The singer-songwriter is looking forward to catching up with the housemates. For now, he’s dedicating them a special song, Alexa’s composition, “When I See You Again,” which he said also describes his PBB journey.
Following his successful PBB stint, KD now prepares as one of Francine Diaz’s three leading men in the digital series “Bola-Bola” which also stars BGYO’s Akira Morishita and The Squad Plus’ Ashton Salvador. Squadmates Danica Ontengco and Analain Salavdor will also be part of the show. People are rooting for KD as a leading man. But if he has the chance to pick a dream role, he would rather play the second lead completing a love triangle.
