Amidst the ongoing battle for ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal, Star Magic artists came together to show their support for the network. Yeng Constantino, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, KZ Tandingan, Tawag Ng Tanghalan hurados Erik Santos and Nyoy Volante, A Soldier’s Heart stars Elmo Magalona and Sue Ramirez, and more of your favorite celebrities collaborated to sing a new version of “Hawak Kamay”. The message of hope and solidarity in Yeng’s 2007 hit is exactly what every Kapamilya needs to hear to remain strong during this difficult time.

The music video featured even more of the country’s hottest actors and actresses interacting with friends and staff members like Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Jericho Rosales, Janella Salvador, Joshua Garcia, Jane de Leon, Maymay Entrata, John Lloyd Cruz, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil on the set of Make It With You, among many others. These clips only show how the Kapamilya network is truly one big family. And this one big family includes over 11,000 employees.

“Sa tagal ko na rin dito sa ABS-CBN, hanggang ngayon gusto ko pa rin magtrabaho,” said Rene Dela Cruz who has been part of the company for 34 years. Technical Director Mark Landerito has been with the network for 26 years. Before him, his father also worked for ABS-CBN as the head of engineering. “Dito ako pinalaki. Dito ako pinag-aral,” he said. In-house designer and stylist Bing Cristobal has dedicated half of his life to ABS-CBN and he could not be more thankful. “Maraming nangyari sa buhay ko. May ups and downs but still ito pa rin ako because of this company,” he shared.

Despite the challenges of today, ABS-CBN continues to serve Filipinos by changing lives and making dreams come true. Now, with this show of love and support from the Star Magic family, it is easy to imagine the country’s biggest network staying on air for at least another 65 years to continue its mission.
