The chinito heartthrob is here to share what he’s up to this quarantine!

We last saw Enchong Dee via re-airing of Maalaala Mo Kaya “Sunflower” episode where he portrayed a handicapped farmer who established a place of livelihood for his fellow PWDs. Apart from the occasional TV appearances, the multi-talented hunk has been busy creating online content and running his restaurant business.

In this video, Enchong shares more about his activities and answers slambook-type questions to reveal bite-sized trivia about him.

The swimmer-turned-showbiz-heartthrob was born on November 5. He is Ernest Lorenzo Velasquez Dee in real life. The Scorpio cutie likes the colors green, blue, red, and red-orange.

Erich Gonzales is his closest Kapamilya star. They’ve grown even closer after launching their joint creative channel EnRich Originals during the pandemic. For their much-awaited reunion, they surprised fans with original digital series produced by him and directed by Erich. The two officially became a loveteam in 2009 via romance-drama series Katorse.

“I can finally say that she’s my business partner but at the same time, magkasama kami during her birthday and before her lock-in. So, talagang na-cherish namin ‘yung panahon na community quarantine,” he said of his best friend.

Besides the digital productions, some of his quarantine-born interests are doing yoga and stretching routine every morning, “The moment I wake up, I stretch especially my lower back. Number two, yoga, ‘yung mga online lang.” He also developed a habit for watching workout videos, learning about stock market, and reading business books. 

His ultimate travel destinations are Banff, Canada because of its natural attractions and New York because of its city views. He dreams to visit Cairo, Egypt, “Because I’m in love with history. I think Egypt has one of the most rich and colorful history. I feel like we will learn a lot from their culture and history.”

Enchong struggled to pick at least one favorite role portrayed. But he settled for Bert in the movie “Elise,” “Kasi proud ako du’n. Nakakatuwa talaga ‘yung movie na ‘yun.” The rom-com film tells the story of Bert and his best friend Elise (Janine Gutierrez) whom he has feelings for.
