No pandemic could indeed ever stop The Killer Bride actor Miko Raval from walking down the aisle with his college sweetheart Kaira Dimatulac as they finally tied the knot last February 1, through a church wedding at Our Lady of Ephesus Chapel, Bella Rose Gardens in Silang, Cavite.
The simple yet exquisite rustic-themed ceremony was attended by some of the closest and most important people in their lives, including a few from his Star Magic family who shared about the great news by posting several photos and clips on Instagram. At the same time, the newlyweds took to their respective accounts to impart this newest, memorable milestone in their lives.
Miko looked dapper in his khaki suit by famed Filipino designer Randy Ortiz, while Kaira was a gorgeous bride in the immaculately white gown by Heleyna. Meanwhile, they were said to also provide pink and beige shawls for their lady guests with a note that says: “To have and to hold when you get cold.”
The wedding was held around three months after their pre-nuptial shoot last October 2020. They were supposed to exchange “I dos” a few months after their romantic proposal in South Korea in December 2019, as what they told Metro.Style in an interview, but they had to postpone it and tweak their plans because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Days after popping the question, Miko introduced his fiancee Kaira during their guesting in Magandang Buhay in January 2020, wherein they talked about their seven-year romance then, and how she’d been instrumental in his journey as Favio Serrano in the 2019 hit series The Killer Bride, as well as how she has been supportive of his showbiz career ever since he started in 2012.
When asked what his promise was to her, the actor said, “Gusto ko lang mag-promise sa kanya na I will do my very best, I will work the hardest lalo na ito leading up to our wedding day dahi ‘yon nga, she deserves nothing but the best. ‘Yon lang ang gusto kong i-promise sa kanya.”
In return, Kaira stated, “Ako naman, promise ko lang na I’ll be supporting you dito sa journey mo. Ito na ‘yong dream mo, natutupad na and I’ll just be here for you, supporting you all the way. And I promise na hangga’t we’re together, you’ll be happy.”|
Congratulations and best wishes, Miko and Kaira!
