Ever since kickstarting his career in the local entertainment scene in the late 90s as a teenager, Jericho Rosales already won the hearts of many with his captivating moreno handsomeness. However, it’s his versatile acting chops, impressive musical talent, and admirable personality that he’s able to exhibit through the years that made us fall in love with him even more.
He starred in a slew of teleseryes and movies through the past two decades, catapulting him as one of the definitive heartthrobs and most exceptional actors in the country and in Asia. But, as we all know, his dashing appeal isn’t only exclusive for the screen, as he has also brought it to the events he attended, such as the Star Magic Ball.
And as we look forward on seeing him in the much-awaited return of the ABS-CBN Ball this September 30, let’s reminisce about the times Jericho charmed us on the red carpet through the years in this gallery.
It was in 2009 when he first graced the Star Magic Ball. Since it was his first time, he kept it simple yet still suave by arriving in a classic suit and tie, with his coat unbuttoned. But what made his debut in the event truly remarkable was his reunion with his former on-and-off-screen partner Kristine Hermosa, to whom he got paired with in the teleseryes Pangako Sa ’Yo (2000-2002), Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas (2003, and Dahil May Isang Ikaw (2009), as well as in the blockbuster hit flick “Forevermore” in 2002.
Four years had passed before he was able to appear again in the star-studded affair in 2013. He showed up in a stylish suit and tie anew, but that time, his Emporio Armani pants and coat had checkered design.
The following year, Echo chose to wear a classic black suit with red pocket hemlines and button. He was accompanied by his beautiful fashion model-wife Kim Jones, who was absolutely elegant in the sexy black frock that she sashayed in on the red carpet.
In 2015, he returned to the classic suit and tie, which complemented the immaculately white body-hugging off-shoulder dress that Kim strutted in.
Jericho then opted for a double-breasted coat and flaunted his curls for his red-carpet appearance in the 2016 edition of the Star Magic Ball. And that outfit seemed to be perfect as he received the Icon Award that glitzy evening, which was conferred by ABS-CBN and Star Magic for his valuable contributions to the industry and astounding loyalty to the company and talent agency. Kim once again served as his beautiful arm candy, who was then mesmerizing in a black number.
Deviating from his previous looks and the prevailing trend among the male attendees of the Star Magic Ball in 2017, he chose to go less formal by wearing an uncoordinated ensemble. It was composed of a crisp white polo, a pair of cream pants, a black blazer, and a pair of black leather shoes that really made him so polished as ever.
Apart from being another night of glitz and glamour, the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball 2023 will also put the spotlight on the stories of thanksgiving, togetherness, and hope shared by Kapamilya artists, employees, partners, and collaborators, who all share the vision of delivering stories that promote human good to our dear audiences. Moreover, it will also aim to raise funds for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation.
