The first-ever Halloween party of Star Magic became the talk of the town last year because it was our first time to see some of our ABS-CBN artists gather together and slay in their hair-rising Halloween costumes. The following are the Kapamilya stars who shone the brightest and won the special awards for their mind-blowing transformations that night.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla may have dressed up as characters that are not from the same film, but hey still snagged the Best Costume Award. The Queen of Hearts came as the DC Comics villain Poison Ivy while her King arrived wearing a huge human eye headpiece.
Love team partners Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata received the Most Creative Costume Award as they recreated the looks of Saitama and Genos, the characters from Japanese anime One Punch Man.
Real-life partners Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, who clinched the Best Couple Costume Award, drew inspiration from “White Chicks” as they transformed into the iconic duo from the said 2004 comedy movie with their matching swan dresses. In fact, its lead star Marlon Wayans even noticed and reacted to the impeccable transformation of the couple as he retweeted LizQuen’s photo on Twitter!
Young actress Kira Balinger wowed us as she impeccably recreated Harley Quinn, the popular antihero and recurring core member of the Suicide Squad. This bestowed her the Metro’s Best Female Transformation Award.
Kapamilya hunk Enzo Pineda bagged the Metro’s Best Male Transformation Award as he channeled the titular character in the 1988 comedy-fantasy film “Beetlejuice.” He went with his real-life sweetheart Michelle Vito who dressed up as the Red Bride
