As a Star Magic household name, Jolina Magdangal didn’t miss the launch of the talent arm’s special catalogue, which features its roster of talents. Jolina, one of Star Magic’s pioneer artists, has witnessed the catalogue’s evolution. And through these changes, Star Magic has proven page by page the quality of stars they have come up with through the years and how they adapt to the fast-changing industry.

The Magandang Buhay host recalled that their photos and poses back in the day looked like “notebook” covers, but the catalogue now has a more refreshing face and it completely spotlights the other sides of Star Magic artists. And when we speak of updates, we can think of Jolina’s fashion style. From her psychedelic and girly outfits in the past, she now dons a more basic yet chic dusty blue blazer over an animal print tube top in her Star Magic 30 Catalogue portfolio. Well, she’s still slaying the mix-and-match game, isn’t she?

Apart from the catalogue and the talents' modern visuals, Star Magic has shifted its focus from solely publishing a magazine of stars to expanding the catalogue through the utilization of digital tools. The launching last July 6, for instance, proves that the Star Magic Catalogue has become an anticipated event in itself.

“Dati sobrang simple lang. Parang meron kang schedule, sige go, ako lang ‘yung nandoon tapos isang studio lang... Pero ‘yung ngayon, dahil feeling ko meron ng social media at marami nang digital, talagang nasisiksik sa iisang time ‘yung lahat ng pwede mong magawa. Hindi ka lang basta magpi-picture.”

She added that the modern execution – from photoshoots to publication and promo – is a blessing to celebrity moms like her because of more efficient time management.
