Troubles pour down on Dexter (Joem Bascon). His rival, Teresa (Judy Ann Santos), is back in Barrio Maulap and willing to make reparations for the residents even if it means putting her reputation at risk. Teresa stands on her ground and discloses the anomalies she and Dexter did in Barrio Maulap. This leads to the termination of the project’s deed of sale. Dexter attempts to defend himself but the Rosales Group Board of Members decide not only to nullify the previous transactions between the company and the town but also to fire Dexter from his post.
Dexter grows more frustrated and demands Starla to give everything he lost, especially his work and wealth. But Starla knows better this time and refuses to grant Dexter’s ill wishes.
Later that night, Dexter burns down the Dichavez residence. Mang Greggy (Joel Torre), Teresa, and Buboy wake up amid the fire. Mang Greggy secures his children’s safety first and then goes back inside the house to take an important belonging – their family portraits. Teresa follows Mang Greggy inside and finds him almost suffocating.
The family fortunately survives the arson. Watching the house vanish in the flames, Mang Greggy, Teresa, and Buboy tear up while recollecting the memories they share within their home.
Meanwhile, Starla cries upon learning what happened to Buboy and his family.
