News about Teresa (Judy Ann Santos)’s homecoming spread around Barrio Maulap. Everyone is greeted with a sense of hope now that Teresa, who they consider as hero and savior, is back. Teresa boldly appears at the plaza where the homeless residents stay.
Facing the people of Barrio Maulap, Teresa risks her reputation by coming clean about sabotaging the town’s livelihood. She admits that the drastic fall of the town’s economic state including the death of poultry animals and agricultural plants were all part of her scheme. Teresa cries and seeks the town’s forgiveness but her confession only forces the people to gang up on her.
Domeng (Simon Ibarra) resents Teresa and accuses her of taking advantage of his ignorance. He feels as though Teresa manipulated him and used their friendship as bait. Domeng regrets letting the Rosales Group invade the once peaceful town but he also knows that they have to move quickly against Dexter (Joem Bascon) and Teresa is the only one capable of winning the barrio’s legal case. Domeng entrusts everything to Teresa and hopes that she would successfully bring the town to victory.
Later, Teresa drops by Judge Solomon’s office to present her testimony declaring the anomalies she did in Barrio Maulap even if it means putting her credibility at risk. Besides, Teresa believes that she is no longer worthy of her title after all the mistakes she committed.
