Still held in captive, Starla (Jana Agoncillo) does her best to escape from Dexter (Joem Bascon). The baby star struggles at first but still continuously wiggles her body until she pushes the bottle cap open. Starla successfully frees herself but only to get caught by Dexter again.
Now that she’s out, Starla is able to talk with Dexter and she tries to enlighten him about his heart’s true desires. Starla insists that she couldn’t grant Dexter’s bad wishes. But the vengeful lawyer is deaf to the wishing star’s pleas and puts Starla back inside the bottle.
Troubles pour down on Dexter. His rival, Teresa (Judy Ann Santos), is back in Barrio Maulap and willing to make reparations for the residents even if it means putting her reputation at risk. Teresa stands on her ground and discloses the anomalies she and Dexter did in Barrio Maulap. This leads to the termination of the project’s deed of sale. Dexter attempts to defend himself but the Rosales Group Board of Members decide not only to nullify the previous transactions between the company and the town but also to fire Dexter from his post.
Dexter grows more frustrated and demands Starla to give everything he lost, especially his work and wealth. But Starla knows better this time and refuses to grant Dexter’s ill wishes.
Dexter blames Starla for his fate, thinking that the wishing star has always been there to help Teresa win. He vows to exact revenge by taking down the lives of Starla’s family.
Meanwhile, Buboy (Enzo Pelojero) reviews the tally of wishes. He worries over Starla especially since she only has one available trial wish. At the Wishing Star Academy, Lola Tola (Charo Santos-Concio) also thinks about Starla’s situation on earth.
