Wanting to make reparations, Teresa (Judy Ann Santos) drops by Judge Solomon’s office to present her testimony declaring the anomalies she did in Barrio Maulap even if it means putting her credibility at risk. Her efforts yield to the termination of the deed of sale between the town and the Rosales Group.
Later, Teresa receives a call from Javi (Matt Daclan) telling her that the paper works needed to retrieve the residents’ properties are all settled. Domeng (Simon Ibarra) thanks Teresa for the good news.
Meanwhile, Almeda approaches Teresa to relay his investigations on Robert (Tirso Cruz III)’s murder case. He presents a report from the medico-legal proving that Robert is already dead when Teresa arrived in the crime scene.
Almeda accompanies Teresa and her group to the office of the medico lawyer who inspected Robert’s remains. Threatened by Almeda, the officer agitatedly reveals that Dexter pressed him to falsify the results of the examination.
The police heads to Dexter’s house right away. Unfortunately, the suspect manages to escape upon receiving a tip from his asset. The fleeing group hits a police checkpoint, leading to a clash. Dexter’s henchmen fall under the hands of the authorities while he selfishly leaves them behind and hides in the woods.
Meanwhile, the cops discover a mask that Dexter used when he attempted to kidnap Buboy, leading them to conclusion that Dexter is also the one responsible for Starla (Jana Agoncillo)’s disappearance.
At the police station, Dexter’s men admit that they poisoned the water supply in Barrio Maulap, resulting to an epidemic. Domeng recognizes one of the suspects as the man who shot Doc Philip (Raymart Santiago) before.
