Black Sheep officially unveiled the trailer of "Third World Romance" on Sunday, July 30, and it introduced us to the endearing characters portrayed by Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon, respectively — the gritty tandem of Alvin and Britney, who both work hard in a supermarket.
As they struggle to make ends meet for their families, Alvin and Britney find friendship, comfort, and happiness in each other. But with their seemingly different priorities — with Alvin being the laidback yet supportive friend and Britney being the outspoken hustler — how else can love possibly exist in their anything-but-easy lives?
“Para sa mga walang wala na. Para sa mga taong nagpapagaan ng bigat ng kupal na mundong ‘to. Para sa ating lahat,” Black Sheep further described its latest offering upon the trailer’s release.
Directed by Dwein Ruedas Baltazar, "Third World Romance" also stars Ana Abad Santos, Gardo Versoza, Archi Adamos, Iyah Mina, Esnyr Ranollo, Xilhouete, Brian Black, Lady Morgana, Junjun Quintana, and Donna Cariaga.
“Third World Romance” is slated for release ONLY IN CINEMAS this August 16!
