But if we have to choose only one common denominator that all strong women possess, it’s the fact that they own each of their personal journeys and wield undeniable impact, whether in society at large or their own relationships. Make way for 30 women in Star Cinema movies who are strong in their own right, as we continue our celebration of Star Cinema’s 30th anniversary!

If she has what it takes to survive overseas against all odds like Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) in “Hello, Love, Goodbye”; the strong will to stand up to a mistress like Anne (Angelica Panganiban) in “The Unmarried Wife”; or the perseverance to hustle for her family like Pura (Melai Cantiveros) in “The Adventures of Pureza: Queen of the Riles”, then no force is strong enough to bring her down.
