“Rewind” is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, with a phenomenal worldwide gross of Php 889 million, as of January 26, 2024.
Star Cinema announced the film’s record-breaking feat on all its social media channels last January 26, as “Rewind” marked its fifth super blockbuster week in cinemas, which includes theaters worldwide.
As the film cemented its place in the history of Philippine cinema, “Rewind” star Marian Rivera expressed her utmost gratitude to movie-goers last January 28.
God bless everyone!” Marian said in a video shared by Star Cinema.
Also overflowing with joy and gratefulness, Dingdong thanked audiences who supported the movie, as well as the whole production crew that made the film come to fruition.
Along with his message of thanks, Dingdong shared how inspiring it is to hear how "Rewind" has impacted people’s personal lives.
“We have nothing but gratitude to everyone.
Indeed, for this remarkable cinematic feat — salamat, Lods!
“Rewind” is currently showing in over 270 cinemas in the Philippines, US, Guam, Saipan, Canada, UAE, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia!
