Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly de Leon mothered intensely as they led the Hollywood red carpet premiere of the dark comedy film "A Very Good Girl"!
The award-winning actresses came in matching white outfits for the highly anticipated premiere night at the Silver Screen in Los Angeles on October 4 (United States time). The event, a first for Star Cinema, was also attended by ABS-CBN executives, namely CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN Films’ head and managing director Kriz Gazmen, COO for broadcast Cory Vidanes, and head of TV production and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi.
Apart from the execs, Filipino-American personalities such as the influencer Bretman Rock and "Rupaul’s Drag Race" alum Manila Luzon also showed their support at the red carpet.
The US premiere of the movie, which also comes in celebration of Star Cinema’s 30th anniversary, is truly a milestone for the company, as pointed out by Katigbak.
“It’s always been our dream to produce content for [the] international audience,” the COO said in an interview with ABS-CBN North America.
“For many, many years, ABS-CBN has been known to create great content for the Filipino audience, [the] Filipino market,” he added. “But we are leveling up our talent, we are leveling up our skills. Hopefully this movie does well and proves to the rest of the world that the Filipino talent is as good as the best.”
Directed by Petersen Vargas, “A Very Good Girl” also stars Donna Cariaga, Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, Ana Abad Santos, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, Nour Hooshmand, Althea Ruedas, and Nathania Guerrero, with the special participation of Angel Aquino.
The revenge film will be released in select theaters in the US starting October 6.
