Kicking off his showbiz career in 2008, this young man from Cebu has been turning heads and capturing our attention with his mestizo look and finely sculpted body. But aside from his well-chiseled physique, there’s more to love about Enrique Gil.
“King” wouldn’t be his moniker just for nothing. He rose to stardom because of the excellent acting skills he showed in his auditions and initial projects. He eventually unraveled his extraordinary talent in singing and dancing which led to his frequent appearances on ASAP, a dance concert, and recording albums. And recently, he amazed us with his stellar performance as the rebellious son Dex in the family-oriented movie Seven Sundays.
Oh, before we forget, the dude can do magic tricks as well which he demonstrated in one of his guestings in Magandang Buhay with the help of his friend, comedian-actor Jeffry Tam.
He’s a family man
We witness how he values his family so much. He still looks up to their deceased patriarch and takes good care with their mom and his siblings Javy and Andie. Due to his overwhelming love, his little sister expressed how grateful she is for having a cool relationship with Quen, whom she also considers as her best friend. Despite their busy schedules, they still find time to bond with each other and do one of their favorite pastimes: playing video games.
His father’s unforeseen passing took a huge toll on their family, especially to Quen. They’ve been each other’s greatest source of strength.
He’s a modern-day price charming
Certainly, many ladies are envious with his loveteam partner Liza Soberano who’s with him most of the time. He might got involved in a few controversies before, but Quen is a natural Don Romantico with a swag.
On and off-cam, he is deeply affectionate towards her as he showers her with pecks and embraces and generously give her the gifts she yearned to have, such as the hypoallergenic shih tzu he gave her on Valentine’s Day last year and a Chanel Boy Bag. He is very vocal, too, about his intense love for the beautiful actress and is confident that she’s definitely the one he sees himself settling down with.
He’s hilarious in his own way
Like just many of us, Quen also has his naughty side, which, according to his interview in Magandang Buhay, he got from his dad. He imparted that he almost used to set his high school ablaze because of a necklace and did pranks to his former teachers.
Liza disclosed in one of their media interviews that if there’s one trait that her partner possesses and she wishes to have, it would be being funny. Well, who doesn’t admire a guy who has sense of humor?
