In case you missed it, Makisig Morales and Nicole Joson has officially tied the knot! The ceremony was held last 17th of June, at the La Perouse in Sydney.
Kapamilyas first met Makisig after he finished as a runner-up in the 2005 singing competition Little Big Star. His career then skyrocketed when he starred in the superhero series Super Inggo the following year, before eventually migrating to Australia with his family in 2014. Just last year, however, fans celebrated his comeback as Dumakulem in the fantasy primetime series Bagani. Less than a month after the hit fantaseryes ended, he announced his engagement on Instagram!
“My fiancée,” he simply introduced with a post featuring a cute selfie of the two. On the other hand, Nicole shared a photo of the dessert plate he used to propose. “Will you marry me,” was written in chocolate. “He stole my heart, so I’m stealing his last name,” she wrote in the captions.
In case you did not know, the lucky lady is Filipino-Australian model and beauty queen Nicole Joson. She is known to have made it as far as the Top 10 in Miss Earth Australia 2017, aside from claiming the special award Miss Earth Australia Charity. Before this, she was the New South Wales State Finalist for Miss World Australia 2017.
Fast forward to last Monday, the two finally said their vows. “I did not look for love, but instead love found me and brought me back to him. I am grateful to be your other half my love,” Makisig wrote in an Instagram post along with a bible verse about being a husband.
Now, all that is left to say is, congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Morales!
