Are you in for that grandiose ghoulish celebrity party for the ages?
Then let Star Magic’s Black Magic Halloween Ball at the Marriott Hotel, Resorts World Manila last Sunday, October 20 serve you those spookiest looks from your favorite celebrities as they walk the “Black Carpet”.
From those frightening figures to super heroes and villains, these celebrities have really made those incredible transformations that are undeniably mesmerizing.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla came in as Poison Ivy and Hector from the animated film "Coco," respectively, while Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil entered as the "White Chicks."
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber left everyone breathless as the anime characters Saitama and Genos from "One Punch Man."
Dimples Romana wowed us all as "Maleficent," while Kim Chiu made us fear her as Ahmanet from "The Mummy," and Janella Salvador brought the house down as Marilyn Monroe.
Ria Atayde scared the wits out of everyone as Beetlejuice, just like Enzo Pineda who walked the black carpet with Michelle Vito as his bride.
Gillian Vicencio, meanwhile, gave us the biggest scare as her character in "Eerie."
Who could miss out your friendly neighborhood Spider-Men in the house—Henz Villaraiz, Luke Conde, and Kyle Velino—to your friendly food delivery man, Raphael Robes.
The next Darna, Jane de Leon, didn’t come as anyone expected but instead came as Lara Croft. Kitkat also came as the lady Green Lantern and Elisse Joson as Willy Wonka while Miko Raval made a statement as The Punisher and Jameson Blake, Donny Pangilinan and Kendru Garcia wielded their magic as Doctor Strange.
Zanjoe Marudo and RK Bagatsing both donned Peaky Blinders. Dominic Roque likewise brought in his heroic charm as Deadpool, and Joe Vargas clawed everyone as Black Panther. Other superhero sightings at the ball were Heaven Peralejo as Wonder Woman, David Chua as Captain America, Eslove Briones as Batman, Khalil Ramos and Jose Sarasola both appearing as Star Lord. Riva Quenery, meanwhile, showed what a jedi should be. There were mind-blowing villains as well, including Ritz Azul as Hella, Kira Balinger as Harley Quinn, as Yen Santos and Maika Rivera both screeched in as Catwoman and Yong Muhajil, Jeremiah Lisbo and Claire Ruiz all shocked everyone as The Joker.
Vivoree Esclito became Miya, the Moonlight Archer from Mobile Legends, Arci Munoz and Chienna Filomeno both had us startled as Sailor Moon, and no one recognized Inigo Pascual as Ernesto also from the animated film "Coco." Robi Domingo and Yasmyn Suarez were stunning as Money Heist characters.
And, who would have thought Nikko Natividad would walk the Black Carpet as Mr. Bean or Maris Racal as Princess Sarah? Who could also forget Grae Fernandez as Indiana Jones, KD Estrada as Neo of The Matrix, Patrick Quiros as Gomez Addams, Aya Fernandez as a lady vampire, Eric Nicolas as a hulkish zombie, Jerome Ponce as Itachi Uchiha from Naruto, Patrick Sugui as Mike Wheeler from Stranger Things, PJ Endrinal as Samwell Tarly and Jenny Miller as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. And, how cool it was to see Sharlene San Pedro as the Bride from Kill Bill, Sue Ramirez as the Corpse Bride, and of course Zeus Collins as an oversized Dora?
And there are more Star Magic artists to strike fear at the Black Magic Ball! Check out these photos from the Black Carpet.
