Spotlight on Julia Barretto- Part 5

Julia admits that much of the pressure that she experiences in her job stems from that the people consider as her utmost advantage—her last name. How did she get over the pressure and the expectations of being a Barretto? “At some point you’ll get tired and you’ll stop caring and worrying. When you keep worrying you’re gonna forget about your real priorities and the job that you have to get done. So sabi ko ‘You know what? I’m just gonna do my best with all the projects that I’m gonna be given and one day I hope I will be recognized for it and my work will be appreciated,” she said. Although she has kept mum about the challenges in her life, Julia reveals that she has went through a lot in life despite her youth. “Slowly I’m opening up para maintindihan nila ako kasi hindi nila alam kung saan ako nanggagaling eh,” she said. @juliabarretto #SpotlightonJuliaBarretto

As part of a showbiz family, Julia has a clear grasp as to why their family’s issues are often magnified to the public. But she underscores that they are a “very normal” family who often loves and sometimes experiences disagreements. As many of the people know, Julia is the daughter of former actress Marjorie Barretto and comedian Dennis Padilla. She lives with her mom and her three other siblings namely Dani, the eldest, and Claudia and Leon, their only male sibling. “Masaya kasi lahat kami girls. Pero masarap rin kasi I’m very boyish so lahat ng mga boyish na nagagawa ko is with my brother. ‘Yung iba ko naming sisters is iba ang nagagawaand they’re not as boyish as me,” she said. @juliabarretto #SpotlightonJuliaBarretto
