Genuine bonds are hard to find so it’s always fascinating to see two young celebrities find something as pure as that in the world of show business. The two first met while shooting the ABS-CBN station ID in 2018, but it wasn’t until they sat next to each other in a flight from San Francisco that their friendship blossomed.
For Jayda Avanzado and Francine Diaz, more than being sisters from the Kapamilya network, they have found a deeper meaning behind a concept that’s become so cliché in today’s time — a real friendship.
Jayda and Francie refer to themselves as soul-sisters despite finding deeper meaning in their relationships during a time when physical distancing was expected of everyone. Perhaps that really is the true test of friendship for these two young stars, or should we say GHORLS.
Other things that have allowed us to witness the bond between Jayda and Francine is their professional collaboration. Jayda made her directorial debut for her music video of “M.U. (Malabong Usapan” where her BFF Francine was featured.
Seems only fitting especially since Jayda has revealed that the inspiration for the song was conceptualized from the usual girl-talk between her and Francine. With their musical collab being a huge success both for each other and their supporters, who have long been hoping for the two to work together, the Huwag Kang Mangamba star also expresses how she wishes for more collaborative work be given to her and her BFF Jayda.
Jayda, of course, also took this opportunity to describe the kind of friend Francine is to her.
With all this touching messages going around, all we hope for these two BFFs is for their friendship to stand the test of time.
