While on duty at work, Fina (Jodi Sta. Maria) receives a call from Aling Nene, Noah’s (Ziljian Drake Ventenilla) nanny. Aling Nene admits Maribel (Maria Isabel Lopez) has been out a lot lately after meeting her new boyfriend. Maribel could no longer provide financial support for Noah as she’s been more focused with her new found love. More so, according to Aling Nene, Maribel is already planning to live with her boyfriend for good.
Dolores (Agot Isidro) looks at Maribel’s series of failures as an advantage for Fina. Later on, Fina goes to Baguio with Armand (Ketchup Eusebio) after receiving a call from her lawyer. The legal proceedings begin. Maribel’s failure to show up at the hearing convinces the judge to grant Noah’s custody to his legal mother, Fina.
Fina sheds tears of joy. She immediately calls Dolores to inform her of the good news. In return, Dolores also feels glad with the good things raining down on Fina. Looking at Fina’s triumph as a mother, Dolores also expresses her desire to finally get information about her own daughter, Iris (Bela Padilla).
Fina fetches Noah from Aling Nene who is also happy with the mother and son’s reunion. Aling Nene even teases Fina with Armand but Fina insists they are just friends.
Fina and Noah arrive in Manila bringing vegetables and other goods from Baguio. Joy (Precious Miel Espinosa) seems distant with Noah at first but they eventually get along well. Fina and her kids, along with Emma, gather at the dining area for dinner. Emma opens up on the quality of vegetables from Baguio while Noah shares the importance of eating one.
Joy butts in, saying her father was fond of eating meat and salty food and has developed a heart ailment that caused his life. Fina gets skeptical as Zoila never mentioned anything about Joy’s late father. Fina believes she has more to discover about Joy.
