Andrei Joseph Montelibano, played by fast-rising Kapamilya actor Tony Labrusca, belongs in a clan of public servants and he is most unlikely to be the one breaking down his family’s political dynasty. Therefore, Drei was groomed early on for his inevitable destiny in politics, taking the Councilor post as his first step after making it in the 2014 examination for aspiring lawyers.
Unlike other politicians who only run for power and wealth, Drei’s penchant for the needy comes naturally. His notable act as a medics volunteer is just one among the many proofs. But, how did he get himself tangled in a web of crimes and lies? Love and friendship is the answer.
Drei would go through hell to protect Juris (Bela Padilla), the woman he adored since college and later on married; even if doing so would entail tainting his own hands with felony. He would give in to Juris’ request of keeping Fina’s (Jodi Sta. Maria) daughter in hiding and raise the latter as their own.
More so, Drei would cast an affirmative vote in burying the lifeless body of a woman he and his pals accidentally killed amidst a fun late night road trip.
Five years after, traces of the crime would be unearthed from the grave. But, now equipped with more powers as a Mayor, Drei would twist the truth to spare him and his friends from punishment; and to provide Juris a complete satisfaction of her motherly desires.
