Every fan of Elisse Joson has a favorite role of hers, but which one is her favorite? In this Entertainment.ABS-CBN.com exclusive, she revisited some of her previous teleseryes and rated each of them from a scale of 1 to 10!
Be Careful with My Heart scored four points for Elisse. Admittedly, she could not help but cringe from watching her younger self. At the time, she was a rookie actress and sets were a new environment for her. She felt uncomfortable and was still adjusting.
Her performance on Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon earned five points. “Daig si Romina,” she joked. It was fun watching herself in a catfight with her real-life friend Michelle Vito, but she thought that her acting was still lacking. Elisse pointed out that she failed to properly respond to her co-star’s actions.
The Good Son is one of her most popular projects so far and it got six points. Based on one of her scenes with McCoy de Leon, she felt that her emotions were just right but there was a problem in her delivery. “Parang hindi pa siya okay,” she commented.
In Ngayon at Kailanman where she took on a kontrabida character, Elisse scored herself a seven. “Dahil gustong gusto ko ‘pag matataray ‘yung role ko,” she said. There is an obvious growth in her performance for this primetime series compared to her previous projects. She showed the right emotions and reacted appropriately to Julia Barretto. Not only that, this portrayal was one of her personal favorites. She started off as a kontrabida, but the story slowly revealed the reason behind her actions and her character development allowed her to change.
Finally, for the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode “Painting,” she also gave seven points. Despite being satisfied with her performance, she feels that there is still room for improvement. “Siyempre, gusto ko more pa,” she added.
