If ever you’re an ABS-CBN teleserye enthusiast, especially in recent years, there’s a huge possibility that you have seen – or even binge-watched – the 2017 afternoon soap opera Pusong Ligaw. To refresh your memory, it follows the story of two best friends-turned-archnemeses named Teresa and Margarette, fascinatingly portrayed by talented actresses Beauty Gonzalez and Bianca King.

However, we’re not going to talk about the series in this feature, but about four of its female cast members instead, who, either known or unbeknown to us, are already moms when it was aired six years ago. Keep on reading to find out who they are.

First off is Beauty Gonzalez, who, as we’ve mentioned earlier, showcased her impressive acting chops by taking on the role of one of the main characters Teresa “Teri/Tessa” Magbanua. While she’s a mom to two young men in the teleserye, Beauty actually just got engaged and married to her husband Norman Crisologo during the filming, and just celebrated the first birthday of their unica hija Olivia Ines in February of 2017. Despite it being a huge and hectic year for her, she amazingly managed to juggle her personal and work duties and pull them off.

And now that Olivia is already 7, Beauty makes sure to be present in her life in spite of being busy with work by spending quality time with her every time they’re together. Among their favorite bonding activities are playing at home, going to different places, and sleeping beside each other.

Another Maricar de Mesa, who compellingly portrayed Amanda Yulo, the trusted minion of Raymond Bagatsing’s wicked and cunning character Jaime Laurel. She just welcomed her one and only daughter Allianna Sky in July 2017 when she became part of Pusong Ligaw.

Being a single mom, she conveyed in her Instagram posts how it has been a joy for her to watch Sky grow, as well as how her smile never fails to bring smile to her heart. The mother-daughter tandem loves to travel here and abroad, often visiting beautiful beaches.

Former teen actress Helga Krapf had also already entered motherhood when she did the series, playing the supporting character Patrice. It served as her comeback after giving birth to her daughter Amelie, who she named after the titular character in the 2001 French film “Amelie,” in March 2015.

They are currently based in Frankfurt, Germany, where Helga was born and raised by her Filipina mom and German dad until she was 10. As she raises her singlehandedly, they get to spend more time together, with travelling to different parts of Europe as one of their favorite bonding activities together.

And lastly, Erin Ocampo, who impressed us with her performance as Cynthia, an office employee who helped her boss Rafa (Diego Loyzaga) in spying on his half-brother Leon, played by Albie Casiño.

Just in case you missed you it, the former GirlTrends member was already a mom to her son Ezekiel, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Michael Pangilinan. She is Kiel’s favorite playmate and travel buddy, as they love to play games and go to different places together, as seen in some of her IG posts.
