We all caught a glimpse of her during moving day. Upon seeing the mysterious woman from afar, Lola Becca (Dexter Doria) suggested that Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo) talk to her. But he dismissed the idea, thinking that the old house had found a new owner. Until the next day, when a familiar colorful pinwheel had reminded him of memories that were just as colorful.
In a flashback, viewers revisited a time when a young Marlon was supposed to accompany a girl named Lea to the sagala. He initially refused to participate because Lea supposedly had head lice. But when he saw how lovely she looked, he quickly got changed as per Lola Becca’s orders. Later that day, during the parade, she teased him for staring at her. At this point, he brought up her head lice. Feeling embarrassed and hurt, Lea ran away.
Young Marlon would try to apologize, but because she did not want to see him, all he could do was give her a pinwheel. The next time they do meet, Lea was being bullied by two boys. Marlon came to the rescue and warned the bullies that only he was allowed to tease her about her head lice. He then gave her another pinwheel and that was the start of their special friendship.
Back to the present, the adult Marlon considered ringing the doorbell but once again decided against meeting the new neighbor. As he walked away, a female voice would call him by his nickname. And just like that, he was finally reunited with his childhood friend, Lea.
Obviously, she holds a special place in Marlon’s heart. So, will he finally be able to move on from Patty (Angelica Panganiban)? We are all excited to see where their friendship would lead to. And even more so because of this gallery of Isabelle Daza as part of the cast!
