The award-winning versatile actress was last seen in the 2015 remake of the phenomenal teleserye Pangako Sa’Yo as Madame Claudia Buenavista. Now, Angelica plays a character quite distant from the iconic antagonist. As Patricia "Patty" Calumpang in Playhouse, Angelica will make us laugh and our hearts sink with such a funny, lovable and feisty character.

While it begins with the usual romantic boy-meets-girl take, how it proceeds to show the realities and issues affecting marriage, and how separation or annulment seems to be a convenient exit brings an interesting hook to the story.
